ARE THEY EARLY, OR LATE? - SPRING PEEPERS ON THE HOMESTEAD
Wow, they are out!
The Spring Peeper (Pseudacris crucifer) has long been among my top species of amphibians. We'd enjoy these back up in Wisconsin, and thankfully they are here in the Ozarks too. Apparently, they are easier to find throughout more of the year down here too. One of the Little-Peppers recently captured this little guy, so we took some quick photos prior to releasing it. It's so cool to have these on our homestead, especially in January!!!

We just released our second book ever, "ARMADILLO ESCAPE" - a children's book that was the effort of three generations of our family, from @grandpa-pepper all the way down to Pinkie-Pepper. We're excited about it, so here's some links for you to check out in case you're interested. Thanks!

Seems like it would be too cold for them to be out and about like that!
