What's Going on In The Natural Health and & Healing World: Curation #55
Hey good medicine folk! And what I mean by good medicine is natural, organic, eco, earth-centred and yep, spiritual too, from yoga to meditation to just breathing under the big blue sky. Ain't it grand? We're the longest running natural health collective on the Steem blockchain - we're awesome, green and proud! Thanking everyone who found the time to share their wisdoms this week, even when the Steemprice is down (sssssh). You know what? We don't even believe that matters. It's hanging out and learning from each other and celebrating and focussing on our health journeys is what TOTALLY wins and TOTALLY NM rocks.
Oh, and if you noticed our new curation image, well, that's coz we like a to freshen things up every now and then. I've been thinking our curation is quite different to a lot of other curations. We like to celebrate and share whta lots of us are doing, rather than two or three good posts. It's nice to recognise both new and old authors for their forays into health topics. We're all in it together, and love to include you all as much as we can. If your name is here, we've probably upvoted or resteemed you too - just little ways to support you where we can. Much love!
I'm sure it's no suprise we feature @artemislives like, every week! It's coz she's a natural health and healing goddess. Guided by intution and informed by research and science, she never disappoints. This here on kaffir lime as a healing tea is a great example of what a #naturalhealing post should be. Plus, her titles are cool too - this one is 'KICK ASS KAFFIR LIME ANTI-INFLAMMATORY TEA'. @artemislives is kickass. She really is! She writes:
I instantly KNEW this was the medicine my body needed, but wasn’t 100% sure why. And so I picked some fresh leaves, made some coffee and consulted the great-amorphous internet, which is what we DO in Northern Thailand, when we are dislocated from living-breathing-herbal people and the herbal books we once had have long since succumbed to rainy season mold or one of the eternally-passing-through “I’ll give it back, I promise“, massage and Thai culture-cooking students.
Just have to share these bites - coz - um, yum!!! @lenasveganliving always makes some pretty darn awesome healthy meals! Check out their post on these delicious bites. In Australia, we call them bliss balls, which is probably about right!
@freedomtowrite made her own yoga mat cleaner with essential oils! Far better than using shop bought products. And if anyone does a lot of yoga, like I do, you'll know that yoga mats gets STINKY. Thanks for sharing this one with us! Check out her post here.
Some other interesting happenings, snippets and conversation starters on the blockchain...
@blessed-girl wrote about lacto-ferments
@nateonsteemit started an interesting conversation about farmer's cheese (on toast with basil - yum!)
@skramatters expressed a little bit of EWWWW as he wondered about horrible deodorants that smell - icky - and how natural deodorant is better. That got this author thinking about making her own deodorant on this rainy Sunday arvo. Thanks Skra.
@owasco posted about how it can be so easy to make a nutritional meal fast, though we can forget that when we are busy!
@tixinhacapitinha has been busy writing lots of little joyful posts on healthy foods from avocado to blueberries
@plantstoplanks meal prep is goddamn inspiring - if you wanna focus on healthy eating, she's your gal!
@lenasveganliving made a pretty awesome beetroot burger! Drooling as I read it!
@vincentnijman has spent a whole week being vegan
@alchemage is making some amazing tinctures this week that'll be up for sale soon. He's excited as in his first year doing naturopathy he gets to dissect a human cadaver! That's pretty exciting, as we dont often get to REALLY understand the inner workings of our bodies. I just hope he doesn't share pictures on the blockchain.
Oh, and if you're wondering what tags to use? Our curators look at most of these tags and more! It's up to you which ones to use. We'll find you (though with ten tags to choose from, #naturalmedicine can always fit somewhere, right?)

Great roundup of posts.... DIY yoga mat cleaner is just the thing I needed. Have a happy and healthy day
found it #pypt discord, it's true that we are not sure that it will be effective 100% but still it's fine I think as long as it's not poisonous. We can't experience side effects that could be fatal, it's herbal after all.
