The Best of Natural Health on Steem

Welcome to this week's curation, where we collate the best natural health content on the Steem blockchain.

This week has been rather challenging, as you all know, so I wanted to share a quick definition of the term medicine as it relates to the community. We often think of medicine as something we take or perhaps doing something healing for the body or mind. Indigenous Elders introduced me to the idea of medicine being the potential energy behind everything we do and think as well. With this in mind, we can then begin to process the idea of what medicine we bring to our community.

What medicine are we creating with our words to each other?

What medicine are we creating with our thoughts about change?

In discord this week, the natural medicine community came together and offered the medicine of peaceful communication and solutions.

Please share this medicine with your communities because that is as natural as it gets.

Wishing you all a peaceful week
~ @agiftoflove

@survival-archive has shared the link to a free pdf loaded with great information about common herbs and their uses.

“How to Benefit from Everyday Herbs” is put together by more than fifty years of herbal medicine (herbalism) experience between Dr. Patricia Bratianu and Dr. Donna Schwontkowski. It is the complete herbal guide to introduce you and your family to the world of using natural herbal remedies to cure common ailments and to enjoy good health.

@trucklife-family shares some great perspectives on change with impeccable timing, I might add...

Change is inevitable, yet so many of us are resistant to it. We fear what we do not know and we fear what we can not control. Yet change, is the one thing that is a constant in our lives and when we try and resist it, we can make ourselves very sick, both physically and mentally.

@chireerocks writes a beautiful poem entitled "what we need is community." I really feel they touched on the complex issue that is the center of attention this week.
