Isolation Mode, making lemons

These are some strange times we live in. You hear a lot about every facet of the pandemic, no matter where you look. Beate Bahner is at the centre of a very interesting case as she has criticized the idea of using quarantine on healthy people with the German government going so far as detaining her in a psychiatric facility. Her claims that some measures being taken are unconstitutional do not fall onto deaf ears. Regardless, I feel like she is met in good whistle-blower fashion with no respect for her integrity as a person. I must admit, she pushed it far with a call to protest on the street, but the way I see it, she knows she is playing a part in an agenda put forward by about 40 other German scientists who also feel like the government is busier masking their incompetence than actually addressing some critical issues.

I am happy to make my home here on Hive, a place that fights censorship like this on a regular basis.

In case you didn't hear, there is a new religion that appeared, and it is based on Star Wars it's name is Zoom. XD

Zoom meeting, Zoom this, Zoom that, Zoom drinks, Zoom Yoga, etc.

Our model was light from the back giving way to a gorgeous Vancouver scene behind her with hummingbirds flying fast and, of course, the cat I hoped would hold still long enough to get some information. It took 30 minutes.

It is extremely difficult to have left my hubby behind. I was supposed to come back April first after a 3 month trip. Worst April's fool ever! I am glad to have his support in watching out for my mother and he recently found me a sublet for which I am grateful. I hope they get along! It would mean a lot, he could use the company right now.

Loin des yeux près du cœur, absence makes the heart grow fonder. If you want to get to know me better, watch this video where my whole family wishes him well for Easter on none other than Zoom.

I love you so much babe, you are my happy place!
This is us the night before I left, eating an overrated onion soup at Burgoo.
I hope to hold him in my arms soon but learning translation with my mom will benefit us both in the long run.

I worked at La Banquise once, got on my bike for a 40-minute ride at about 6 AM. It is reputed for its delicious poutine AND being open 24H a day. This photo is from March 15th. I knew I was taking a huge risk by going but at the same time, I knew this was my last chance to live the old ways. So I did!

Laetitia is a great friend!
Quite the photographer which is why I am trying to get her to join Hive,
She is a blast to be around!

Besides eating really healthy, I have been doing more and more exercise in the last few days. Just earlier today, a high school friend who became a pro dancer was teaching a free Zoom class. I mentioned that I was reminded of Feldenkrais in my absolute epiphany of pure mind and body connection. She replied that what we did today was like Feldenkrais on steroids.

I have been putting more energy on my group: Ed's Fitness Corner on Facebook
It's a great place to find online fitness and dance classes at the moment!
I will be teaching one in French Sunday 16:00 ETA
I should have the meeting ready by tomorrow. It's all very exciting

It is weird to see these hidden gems of the crisis, selfless people like us, willing to keep each other sane free of charge. It does make it hard to sell services when everyone is offering it for free. It would be nice if more people knew about Hive right now because that could help encourage people to upvote or even tip with liquid Hive to generate revenue for content creators! Fortunately, the Brave browser is working in perfect synergy with Hive to get that point across.
