Some of those fried ones throughout Asia are spicy and crunchy. Also in Australia aboriginals have long dined on witchery grubs. Fresh and alive! I live in a region of Australia where the Wurundjeri people are named after the grub and the tree that it lives in as a larvae. In contrast to this new and chaotic world emerging, that long gone past (in images at least) has a soothing and idealised feel.
How fast things change. In just over 200 years the transformation of the land is amazing.

Hahaha yeah I'm divided.
I'm for transhumanism in it's push to achieve a consciousness revolution. I believe that at the least, it will grant explosion in abilities through direct data input into our virtual mind states. Even though, it's likely a right only granted to the elites I value Virtuality of Mind over Physical Expression.
For the whole control over the masses and enslavement of minds however, it's obviously not something I would want to experience. Its a crazy world developing though.. and it's moving so fast that we as the human species will likely divide into two dominant factions.
