A friend of mine has a huge talent and I feel like the band doesn`t get the recognition they deserve on youtube.

A swiss band located in Schaffhausen.

Their band description says:
Explosive guitars, powerful drums, catchy tunes surrounded by 80s-Glam – all that served with a bit of boygroup charme: That’s HIELO. The four-man group from Schaffhausen (CH) – named after their sadly deceased singer “Paco Hielo” - is currently working on their first LP.
After the first Release of their EP Small town tales in 2017, which reminds on classical high school pop-punk parties, they decided to extend their sound with the high variety of Synth-Arrangements, giving their sound a very fresh and diverse appearance. “Make 80s great again” is what the guys of HIELO are going to celebrate

3speak demands a high-speed Internet connection or else it craps-out. Nothing plays on 3speak for me.

Dtube demands that one live near an IPFS node or else it craps out. Nothing plays on Dtube for me, and the videos are only stored for a short time before they disappear, forever.

For videos, I think you've made the best choice here, by embedding a link to a YouTube video, as YouTube streams beautifully even to slow Internet connections. PLUS, they will have the exposure on the blockchain as well since you have blogged about them!

For unsigned artists, Bandcamp seems like a good option, imho. Several musicians from the blockchain have their music there. Folks can preview it and buy it if they like it. Purchased music can either be downloaded ~OR~ streamed, at the buyer's choice. 🙂 Bandcamp only handles audio and not video, but if they want to sell an album it's a great place.

Cool song, and I love the lighting-effects in their video! That neon-glow is so awesome, and they did a great & unique job displaying the lyrics, too! Thanks for sharing this! 😃

I did not know that this services depand so much on a fast internet.
Good to know, I think the best would be to continue inbedding the videos thrue their own acount. Of course I`ll keep supporting them as best as I can.

Deffinetly gone recomand Bandcamp to them as well, thank you for that one.

Concept DTube is moving towards is users hosting their own files, self-sustainability by paying for your own hosting or running your own node which if people actually worked together a network of shit connections would host our files no problem... ‘tis the reason I prefer the YouTube share for DTube so people can at least get a start 😉

As a general tip u should have your music on all possiby good music platforms as different music heads prefer different music platforms but always good to have one main in where u push ur music.

I would suggest continuing to upload to YouTube then using DTube share “Third-Party Upload” option to gain monetization of content on Hive & STEEM while sharing their works here. If their content is not at risk of censorship I honestly see no need to upload directly to DTube or 3speak as then hosting and playability become issues, just use YouTube share option on DTube instead.
