'Trackers' - New Original Music - Another Timed Songwriting Challenge - Electronic/Instrumental

I gave myself 25 minutes last night

to see what I could come up with, and this is the result. It looks a bit sparse, as there aren't a ton of tracks, but I spent quite a bit of time tweaking some of the audio clips, so I probably could have worked more efficiently lol. I think the idea here is pretty cool, though the mix doesn't feel 'big' enough, as a lot of the kick's low-end, and the bass synths, got chopped off with some effects and bad EQing that I didn't have time to go back and correct. So, another song to add to the list of things to revist, haha.

Track 1 provides our chords,

which are just two note dyads, but each note also has a 4th above it (the synth's built in effect) so they feel decently big. Tracks 3 and 4 are grouped together and provide the bass parts, which mostly stick to root notes, though they also provide some little thumpy fills on the 5ths of the chords. Tracks 5, 6 and 8 are the drums, along with the audio clip in Track 12, which uses a little rhythm from the Nerve demo I recently downloaded. Finally, we have some extra synth layers in Tracks 7 and 10, and a little filler sound in Track 9. Track 7 is by far my least favorite part, so that'll be the first to go in a finalized version of this for sure.
