'Song 63' - New Original Music - A 20 Minute Timed Challenge w/ Video...

this afternoon for a quick timed songwriting challenge, and I think the results are pretty cool! It's definitely not a complete song, but I think its a decent rough outline to build on top of. I started with the Microfreak through the Microcosm, and recorded an A and B section (the A section repeats once more at the end, ABA). The A section follows the chords Amin, Fmin, Esus4, F, then Cmin, Ab7, Amin, F, and G. The B section just moves between a C6 and F chord, but split into a moving line played on the Microfreak. I then added some Digitakt, specifically three synth/keys tracks and no drums, which are used in the A sections. I also added a little choppy synth bit as well, over the 2nd half of each A section. Finally, I added some drums on the Digitone, which ran through the Microcosm, and is used over the B section, fading out over the 2nd A part. Overall, I like this, so I'll maybe try and build onto this, without a timer, tomorrow and see what happens.
