'Reflex6' - New Original Music - Revisiting the Tune from Last Week, Trying a New Lead Instrument - Electronic/Instrumental + Walkthrough

on this song, but I sort of started to dislike the instruments in the lead part, so I wanted to try something else. I just replaced Track 15, which plays the melody in the left speaker with a different Strobe2 synth, now in Track 16. These are still all grouped together, though I blanked out all the stuff that isn't being used now. I wanted something a bit grittier, which would be a bit quieter than Track 14, but provide some more distortion and sort of fill in some gaps that Track 14 had. Overall, I think this instrument works, though what I didn't really notice while adding it is that there is a flanger or phaser that is on the default setting on this synth. It isn't super obvious, but at some points, you can clearly hear the descending or ascending hiss from it, so that is something I definitely will change, because that was unintentional.

of those final little fixes, maybe adjust a few levels here and there (the leads feel a little too loud now), but aside from that I don't think there is much left to do, at least writing-wise. If I do this, I'll perhaps do another post, though it does feel a bit odd writing a whole post about a single change, so maybe I'll just include it within a post for something else, give you a two for one. I also think some of the transitions in this track could be tweaked a bit, and maybe even the outro worked on a little more, though I'm not sure. I was thinking I'll listen to it a lot tonight, then sleep on it, and decide if I'm going to stop nitpicking tomorrow or not, haha.
