'Pulchrititis' - New Original Music - Another Random Idea - Electronic/Instrumental + Walkthrough

This is a random idea from

a week or two ago that I totally forgot to share, so I figured better later than never. I really like the general vibe, and the strange rhythmic patterns within it, and definitely will try and revisit this and see what comes of it. As of now, its pretty sparsely layered, though Track 1 is a pretty wide sounding synth, so it doesn't feel particularly empty. I think with some more textures doubling some of these parts, it could sound much more interesting. Perhaps with the addition of a new section, it could really start to resemble something more complete.

We're in F# for the whole song,

though the defining 3rd of that chord moves between major and minor, so I guess our key either shifts, or there is various borrowing from parallel keys. The whole song is based around the 'left hand' part in Track 1 just droning on staccato half notes of an F#5 (inverted). In the Pink parts, the right hand descends down from the 5th, to the 4th, to maj 3rd, min 3rd, and then the 2nd, before doing a slight variation the next time around.

In the Blue section of Track 1,

we still have the inverted powerchord on every 1 and 3, but the right hand now stays only within F# major, and the other instruments reflect that. Tracks 2 and 5 only come in over the Blue parts, while Tracks 3 and 4 are used over the Pink sections. Track 4 doubles Track 1, with a different texture to fill things out a bit.
