random session playing around w/ the Prophet V synth demo from Arturia, but wound up becoming an idea I am absolutely going to work on more. I initially was just layering in various audio clips, recorded from sounds I liked in the synth, so the 20 minute demo timer wouldn't cut me off and I'd lose them, and it wound up coming together decently well. I think this is still very rough, but the general idea has inspired me to keep going. Frankly, the last few random sessions i've shared on here were ideas I hoped would take me somewhere, but sort of didn't seem too inspiring when I'd revisit them after posting. This one, I like much more, particularly when the drums come in and things pick up a bit. Keep in mind, levels are all over the place, so some things aren't nearly audible enough, and others (like the kicks) are WAY too loud, so that'll all be adjusted as I keep working and writing.

we begin with, and repeats 2x, and the B part, which ends the song. The A part begins on an Eb5 (we're in Ebminor, though I do substitute in an Ebmajor at a few points), which it hits a few times, before the main bulk of the progression: Eb, Db, Eb, Db, Bb, Cb (aka B natural), and then Eb and Db again. There is a lead part on top, which outlines the Ebmajor at the beginning, but then uses an Ebminor the rest of the time. The B section (at the end), begins on Bbmajor, to Cb, which is held for 2 bars, and then Abminor, before repeating, so it never actually resolves, just keeping the tension going as we fade out. The kicks over the B section aren't what I want them to be; I think the solid 1/4 tone, 4 on the floor rhythm works better, so that'll be used for both parts.
