'Padd' - New Original Music - A Quick Creation w/ Some More PianoTeq Instruments - Electronic/Instrumental

using some PianoTeq sounds which turned into something pretty cool. There's not a lot going on, at least currently, but I think it's a solid base to try and build on top of. I started with a 186 bar progression with the piano in Track 1, pictured below (16 bars below, loop played 2x). It just moves back and forth between some version of an F chord and an Fsus2/4. The first time we have an Fmin7 (no 3rd)/Fsus2/4, then Fmin/Fsus2/4, Fmaj/Fsus2/4, and the last time around, an F5 with an added Db, then Fsus2/4, before repeating. I added Ableton's Gated Delay, which gave it a sort of choppy, sidechained sort of effect that I really like. Track 2 uses another PianoTeq instrument, the Elektra electric piano, which is just used to play the bass part pictured to the right above. Tracks 3 and 4 add our drums, using the 'Analog Face' kit, with Track 3 providing the 'kicks and snares' (they're just sort of thumpy sounds for kicks, and plinky, plucky sounds for snares), and Track 4 the 'hats'. Finally we have Track 5, a bit of a random addition; I downloaded a new instrument from PianoBook.co.uk yesterday, a Tibetan Singing Bowl, which just drones an F before fading out. I had to record it to audio, as the instrument is slightly out of tune by default, and DecentSampler only lets you tune by whole steps, so I had to hold the pitch bend bar while recording to keep it on an F. I will play around with this, maybe work on some sort of B part instead of the same loop under the whole thing, so we'll see what happens.
