This is a random idea that I've been

Track 10, Lead Part 1 (Harmonized with Track 11), A and C Sections
playing around with over the last few nights, which started from a little progression in F# Dorian, and then turned into 3 parts, which overall I really like, though they need some work. I still don't love the drums, though they're essentially just a basic placeholder for now, as I wasn't (and still am not) sure what would work the best. Tracks 2, 3 and 4 currently provide the drums (snares, kicks, and hats, respectively), but these will definitely change as I try and find something more interesting that helps each section stand apart a little more. Tracks 5 and 6 provide the chords for all 3 of the sections, which are pictured above as follows: Brown is A, Blue is B, and Green is C. The A section was what I started with, which is just a little F# Dorian line that repeats a couple times. The E to D# move in that section obviously gives the impression that resolving to Emajor would make sense, so I figured for the B part, I'd try Eminor instead.

Tracks 5 and 6, Chords in A and B Sections

Listen to Modulato here...

So, that's what I did, adding a i, Vii, Vii, iv, Vi, Vii line in

Tracks 5 and 6, C Section Chords
the new key of Eminor. This modulation actually worked much better than I intended, and when we return from the B part to the A part, we essentially move from D, to E to F# (a Vi, Vii, i in F# minor), which made it feel pretty solid generally. The C section sticks to F# minor, without our sharp 6 from Dorian, which I think also helps give the impression that F# is our home key, despite the D# that keeps appearing in the A sections. Track 7 adds that distorted swelling bass part, and Track 8 the arp. synth. I tried some automation of the cutoff in Track 8 here, but I HATE it, so that's going to go, haha. Tracks 10 and 11 are grouped together, and provide a lead melody line which continues over the top of each section. Track 12 is also part of this, just an audio clip of one of these lead lines. Track 13 is the last track, and was a random addition last night, just seeing if I wanted something additional there... turns out I don't so that'll go too, lol.
