I had taken a break from this idea

Portal effect on kicks, Track 11
to share a few other random things over the last couple of days, but I figured I had to at least update this, if I'm going to keep playing around with it. Most of the synths are identical to the original, though I did go through and fix some levels. Tracks 11 and 12 are both kick tracks, both of which have Portal delay effects on them. Initially, it was just 11, but it was a little too thin, so I added Track 12, which worked a lot better. Track 11 sort of just adds a little high end kick sound, and makes the hits more obvious. Track 13 was ANOTHER kick, but I completely removed all of the low end, and had this used sort of just another percussive element, though it does occur with the other kick hits. Track 14 was a rimshot/clap sort of sound, which I don't love. It feels a little sparse, like it's trying to play a faster, syncopated thing, but just dropping out, haha. So I'll probably try and find a replacement if I work on this more. Track 15 was just a Nerve hi-hat loop, recorded into audio as the Nerve demo shuts off after 20 minutes. One day, I'm going to buy all these programs, and never deal with another demo timer again, lol. Finally, we have Track 16 is the only new synth sound, which uses a LABS pad to add a single, sort of dissonant swell over the first beat of the tune, and the start of the outro. Track 10 is also new, and only is used over the break and once at the end; this was just a ROLI synth originally, with a crazy Portal effect that gives it that bubbly, liquid sort of quality.
