I had made a few more changes

Track 8, 808 (Track 7 has been removed from the song)
to the song from a couple days ago over the last few nights, and think there are enough now to justify an actual post. I'll go through them in the order they appear in the overview shot above. The first thing I did was to completely remove Track 7 from the song, which provided the 808 that just sustained until the note ended. Track 8 replaces it with the 808 that has a fadeout in the sample (played with Ableton's Simpler instrument). Over the Choruses, I also added some higher notes in the line, just to fill in things toward the end of each 4 bar section a bit more. Next up is the basic progressions, which are played by a bunch of tracks, from the bass, to piano in Track 13, and other synths on top. I took every 2nd chord, and had it moved up by 1/8th beat to anticipate the next measure. In the previous version, I did this on probably half the changes, and realized it would be a lot better to just be consistent with it.

Cypher2 Demo (Tracks 5, 6 and 7)

Listen to HQ here...

I had some of the drums from Track 15 fade (in Track 16)

Track 13, Every 2nd Chord Moved Up an 1/8th Beat
over the start of the Verses that followed them, as it felt so abrupt previously. I doubled up two of the little audio clips for transitions before the final Choruses, but I don't love that, so I'll try and find a different sound to use there, so each transition varies from the previous one. From here out, its all new tracks, starting with Track 24. This adds a plucky synth over just a single section, as sort of a little transition, though I don't love the very straight, robotic rhythm of it, so I'm going to try and edit that, play around with some different ideas. Tracks 25, 26 and 27 were all recorded from the Cypher2 demo I have, using various synths from their 'Arpeggiated' library. They fade in and out in volume and cutoff, just to fill in some parts after the 1st and 2nd Choruses. Overall, I like the progress, so I'm going to try and spend a few minutes each day tweaking this, and hopefully have something more complete for the next update post.

Hope you enjoy the changes!
