This was a random idea from last night,

Track 1, Part 3 (Pink)
which is mostly about the chord progression(s) and the other synth parts. I didn't do a lot of work on the drums or bass, just dropped in some pretty straight-forward stuff, but I think the chord progressions will be something I'll use in future tunes, maybe take them and try and build something entirely different around them. Track 1 was where I started, which provides the chords. It's divided into 3 sections, 1 in Yellow, 2 in Blue, and 3 in Pink. The Yellow section begins on an EminAdd9, to an Amin, down a halfstep to Ab, then Gmaj, before repeating. The Blue section just moves back and forth between two chords, C#-13 and Amin6. The Pink section changes things up a bit, starting on Bmin, to Amaj7, G, and then Bmin7. Track 2 is the drums, and Track 3 the bass.

Listen to Bendo here...

Tracks 4 and 5 both use the same LABS instrument, with

Track 10, Arp. Synth
Track 4 holding out a single E over two bars which swells into sparkly, glitchy sort of sound, and Track 5 some shorter, staccato stabs. Track 6 adds a synth with some heavy delay, which just provides some extra harmonies over the Blue and Pink parts. Track 7 is muted, because I recorded it into Track 8, then added the MAutopitch effect, which gave it a really interesting sound. Track 9 is another synth that was bounced down to audio, as it had the LFOtool on it, whcih as I've said before, is just a demo limited to 10 minutes at a time before you have to reload the plug-in. Track 10 is pictured to the left here, and adds an arpeggiated synth over the Yellow (A) part, which adds another layer of harmonies, extending what are already pretty big, extended chords in Track 1. Track 11 is only used as a little transiton between the Yellow and Blue sections, after the first time around, and finally, we have Track 12, which adds a marimba/log sort of sound which just adds some 1/4 note hits, outlining stripped down versions of the chords in the Pink part.

Hope you enjoy! Thanks for listening!
