The IRS, the CPS, the FBI... oh here I cry. Who Can It Be Now!
" I'm from the Government, and I'm here to help. " Big Brother!

Who Can It Be Now!

No worry. I am not from the government and I wont take your baby. (Whew!) I am only here to share a song from Postmodern Jukebox. The song is "Who Can it Be Now!" You may remember it as a 1980's song from Men At Work.

Today we hear a 1940's jazz style cover by guest singer, Sara Niemietz

Postmodern Jukebox,

I have followed Postmodern Jukebox for two years and am impressed to their endless talent. WE hear the style of big band and swing in part of the song as Sara belts out the melody with expression. Pianist, Scott Bradlee also arranges their music, and I believe is the driving force to the creative genius of the band. Band members for this recording include...

Sara Niemietz (Guest Vocals), Jacob Scesney (Sax),
Mike Cottone (Trumpet), Lemar Guillary (Trombone),
Ian Solomon (Bass),Martin Diller (Drums),
Scott Bradlee (Piano)

That may have been how Men At Work would have sounded in the 1940's. Wow!

Original Men At Work Video

For a comparison, I have included the original 1980's Men At Work video of this song below. It is quite a contrast, but the connection is there.

Damn. Someones knocking at my door. Who can it be now? I better finish up this post before they knock again!
