Bangers for Steemit Week 17 (Not very metal edition)

What's up, you sweet baby boi's? I hope you're all doing well and that Corona-Chan hasn't swam up your urethra and infected you with a wonderful death pneumonia. I'll be turtlingup in my apartment with some hot cocoa and watching terrible movies for the next year at this rate. Anyways, I'm here to do another week of music recommendations. If you're some sort of simp cave dweller, you might be asking why I have not very metal edition in the title. Well, that's a dumb fucking question and you should probably go drink some water and listen to Maroon 5, you fuck. that's because I've not found very much good metal music to toss in here recently. It's kind of just a warning for @gooddream, since he's the only one who probably actually listens to the shit I put on here. Sorry, cutie :(

But, lets just get into the tunes for this week.

1. Kavinsky: Nightcall

This track is one I heard a week or so ago, and is a very chill one. Definitely in line with stuff like daft punk and other synthwave type of bands. You might have heard this before from the soundtrack from the movie Drive, but apparently I missed it up until now. If you're into electronic music or just want a nice track to listen to while you're out walking or driving around, this would be a good one to make your nipples like diamonds to defend yourself from any muggers or car jackers. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a on the spot self defense weapon.

2. Tallah: We, the sad

If you came here for some fucking high octane, boner inducing music, well, here you go. This is the second time I've included this band in one of my lists, but they certainly deserve another spot. This track in particular gives me some big nostalgia vibes while also breathing some very much needed fresh air into the nu-metal/hardcore genres. The song seems to be very heavily inspired by 90's KoRn music, just with better musicianship and an updated sound. I've found this band to be kind of a mixed bag, because some of their music is absolutely fucking wonderful. But, then, some of their tracks sound like Fred Durst trying to make a comeback after he injected meth into his nutsack. This track, however, falls into the wonderful category at least. Definitely a recommendation from me if you need some fun metal to jam to.

3. Death Cab for Cutie: I Will Follow You Into the Dark

Now, if you're here for emo boi hours, this will be your boner jam. I've dabbled here and there throughout the years with the emo genre, feeling like most of it is pure dirty ass. However, from time to time I find something I actually really enjoy, and this is one of those cases. I wasn't much of a fan of these guys when I was a teenager, but this song bops pretty fucking good. Though, maybe I'm just slowly becoming a sentimental old fucking man or something, I dunno. Either way, if you want something sappy and chill to listen to this will be what does it for you.

4. Damian Marley: Welcome to Jamrock

The final track is probably a pretty odd choice for me to include, but suck it, suck it dry. You fucking virgins. I don't normally listen to much reggae type stuff, but this shit is fire. At least in my opinion. Maybe it's because it's more rap/hip hop oriented over just being pure Jamaican reggae, but this just works for me. I only very recently discovered this track, so I haven't had time to check out more songs from the artist. Who if you didn't know, happens to be Bob Marley's son, which I find pretty interesting. Anyways, check this out if you're planning on microwaving a coconut to have sex with, highly recommended.

Alright, there's another week done for you bastards. I fell a bit behind on keeping this out, pretty much because I've had my hands constantly all over my guitar since I got it. You know, on the count of it making me feel like I'm made from pure high octane testosterone and wet dreams. I really need to get my recording stuff set up so I can start really whoring myself out to you all. But, yeah. I'm still sticking with the idea of probably making this a bi-weekly series I post instead of a every week type thing. We'll see though, I suppose. Until next time though, take care of yourselves turbo virgins.

Later!

Night Call is an outstanding track. So moody and repeatable. I love it!

Yeah, it's real nice to vibe to while you're stuck driving behind some 72 year old senile woman who has forgotten where she is. Definitely a solid track.

Welcome to Jamrock is played at nearly every reggae pub that I have ever been to in Asia and it is one of my favorites because i dunno exactly, maybe because it isn't so preachy.

How did you know I was planning to microwave a coconut?
