Barbatuques is a Brazilian group created in 1995 by the São Paulo musician Fernando Barba and formed by 14 members. Barbatuques propose is the development of organic, scenic and visual languages presented as corporal sound expression. They make music through body percussion, claps, chest beats, snaps with fingers and mouth, whistles and tap dancing, resulting in rhythms that go from samba to rap.
