This is a new #mushroommonday episode, probably the last of this year. Mushroommonday is an initiative of @balticbadger, thank you mate.

This week I added some pictures I took yesterday. It was a partially sunny day, neither too hot nor too cold. So, in the afternoon I went by scooter to Fossola a little locality in the Carrara's area. I left the scooter to start my walk on a white road. Along this, I saw several Arbutus' plants - I think they would be - but the fruits weren't yet mature.

While I was going up along the path, I saw a few mushrooms: I thought I wouldn't find them these days.

Instead, on the trees, there were several acorns.

After some minutes of walk, I arrived in an open location from where you could see all Carrara, from the hills to the sea.

From here, in a few meters I reached the Moneta Castle Ruins. These are the leavings of the ancient castle dating back to the year 1000. It is an ancient village lapsed with time.

I took some shots and, after that, I followed one of the narrow paths; I saw many parts of the ancient fortress, today divided into several detached ruins.

I tried to start a path that promised to reach Ortonovo and Fontia but it began to fall the evening, so I decided to come back. And at this point, the surprise: mushrooms!

Along the white road I had already traveled, one...two...three...many mushrooms. I didn't recognize but I photograph them anyway. I don't think it would be edible.

I publish now the entire post because I had to resized and adjusted all the pictures. I don't know if you like them, I hope yes.
