Are you living up to your full potential?

I read something I wish to share with you today.

“Imagine you’re on your deathbed—and standing around your bed are the ghosts representing your unfilled potential. The ghosts of the ideas you never acted on. The ghosts of the talents you didn’t use. And they’re standing around your bed. Angry. Disappointed. Upset.

And then the ghosts speak:

They say “We came to you because you could have brought us to life,” they say. But you didn’t use us during your whole life.
“And now we have to go to the grave together.”

So I ask you today: How many ghosts are going to be around your bed when your time comes?

This causes me to pause and reflect.
What unused talents do I have?
What unrealized potential do I possess?
What unrealized goals and ambitions should I be working on realizing and bringing to fruition?

I am enjoying my time on Steemit, writing, corresponding and connecting. But I also treat it like a business by learning its vocabulary, rules, tools and story the different pathways people use to success here.

I like to think that the readers of my blog are joining me in this “quest” for “success”,
But that like me you also like to stop and enjoy the “flowers” and natural beauty of the earth along the way. I think that life is not a goal, an achievement or a destination. Life is a journey and we should enjoy the travel, stops and people we meet. Each day is unique and will never come again. I think that discovering who we each are, what our unique talents are and living to our full potential is also part of that journey.

We are each as unique as each day of our life is unique. Like those days when we pass away or die, we may never come again. We should make the most of our life and ourselves. Strive to reach your full potential.
Strive to achieve your dreams.
Seek to have no regrets and no ghosts of unfulfilled potential at your death bed.
