Dreams Are Tools!

Is it truly possible to achieve one's dreams? Often, I have asked myself this question over and over again, with the hope of getting a negative conviction from the ones that I had all these years. Sometimes, it is easier to lie to yourself to feel good about something, but the truth is, certain things cannot be changed no matter how we try to twist them.

Truth cannot be hidden, it is so glaring. Each time I ask myself this question, I am always convinced that I can achieve all my dreams if only I put my heart to it and mean every word of the things that I say. Well, I might be lazy once in a while. Sometimes, I want to make excuses for myself and maybe find a reason to fail, but it still boils down to me. I am the only one limiting myself, I am the only one holding myself back, I am the only one making up stories in my head.

Dreams come through, they do! There is nothing on earth, you cannot achieve even if you want to make history and do something that has never been done by anyone, it all depends on you and your determination. It takes you to stop you! It's very simple! The question is, how much are you willing to give to your dreams? How much do you want it? Again, how much sacrifice are you willing to offer to achieve your set goals? I must be frank, the road to success is not an easy task because it takes a lot to get things done maybe that is why I always look for reasons to fail, but the truth remains, only you can stop you.

Honestly, I have a long list of the things that I want to achieve in life. Sometimes, it seems impossible especially with all the obstacles on the way, but am I giving up on my dreams? No way! I am not ready to let go of my dreams and I think no one should either. I mean what are you living for without those dreams? Imagine life without having something to work with? Dreams are like tools! We all need something to work with and live for. Yes, it may take a while to achieve them, but I know it will surely come to pass, after all, age is nothing but a number. So, achieving one's dream has nothing to do with age, race, status, tribe or any other excuse that you can think of.

Ask yourself these questions; do you want to applaud others while you watch them achieve their dreams? Or do you want to have others watch while you achieve yours? What do you want? Do you want your name to be written with a golden pen or you are just OK with whatever comes your way? Well, I am not here to help you answer those questions and as a fact of fact, no one should answer them for you. I am here today to let you know that you can do this! You can be who you want to become! You can be that person you dreamt of! Just put your mind to it and be focused. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise or make you see reasons why you can't! Listen, you can do this! Yes, you can! I believe you can! For real, you can! And yes, with the help of God, it gets better and easier.
