"Winter of the Heart"
Seasons change; time rolls on just as always.
Beauty that is there remains; it just morphs.
As the seasons morph and change, some things die.
When it is not first coupled with friendship,
Amorous love withers and dies as well.
Not too often, but it does nonetheless.
Then will begin the Winter of the Heart,
A dreadful season, to be avoided.
It must be endured, ‘till Spring melts the frost.
Loving each other will bring about Spring.
Agape is the love that warms the heart;
It is a powerful, wonderful thing.
