Two plus two

No, not a post about some greater version of those neat smartphones. Just two sets, with two photos, remembering my stay in Açores, a couple of years ago. And also an entry to the Monomad Challenge, since it was long since I've joined!

Realised when I was tweaking these photos that dewdrops look great in monochromes! And the steam from the fumaroles in the back adds to the photo too. This is the place where people in São Miguel go to eat the typical portuguese dish, cooked in that natural boiling water.

Not a fan of that typical food myself, so I just sticked to taking photos. Of flowers covered in dewdrops, and of finches sitting on top of the trees!

I bet this one was so happy about being photographed, that he even sang for the photo.

Or maybe he was just asking me to go away... I guess I'll never know! One thing I do know: I do want to go back to Açores. There is still so many things left to do, between watching whales, trekking, revisiting all that luxurious green... and taking photos of it all!
