Monomad - Snow white
If I am not mistaken this is Mammillaria Snowcap. And I know exactly why that name. Not only the spines are small and completely white, but also the center areoles look like snow fluff... and also completely white. It really looks like tiny little snowflakes got stuck to a very dark green cactus body.
This one I grew from a tiny little cutting I receives a while ago. It was the size of a chickpea maybe. It rooted well and now it is is closer to a small plum. Didn't bloom for me yet, but I guess next year I will see some typical, tiny, mammillaria flowers.
Isn't it adorable? :)

I love these little guys! They are as wide as they are tall!! When I lived in Arizona, they used to call them Arizona Snowcaps.
