This is a very beautiful picture,and looks just so finely composed even though it was taken in movement. Those are the hardest ones. Really great shot. My respects ❤️

Where was this taken?
I was on a circular walk around a reservoir called Carsington Waters. We had to cross the road so decided to take a few quick shots.
I had to google the place up. I was a bit surprised to see snow in the picture. It's in England in the Midlands at an altitude of 200 m above sea level.
I live about 40 miutes from the reservoir and my village didn't have any snow. They always get more up in the hills. Hopefully, more to come next week!
I din't expect to see snow only 200 m above sea level in England at least this winter.
I've seen pictures of snowy landscapes taken in the Lake District in the middle of winter. I visited London around new year in 2005/2006 and the first couple of nights were freezing. The minimum was around -10 C. It sleeted during the day at least once. I don't remember exactly but there may have been a bit of snow on the ground in the parks.
We've had an unusually warm winter here, about 70 km from the south coast of Finland at the 61st northern latitude - a bit further north than the northernmost continental parts of Scotland. No persistent snow to speak of at and what little there was never lasted longer than up to a week. One large in the south only froze over in February, which is the first time in recorded history.
Unfortunately, in the UK we get more bad weather than good. We can have all 4 seasons in one day. We usually get snow this time of year. The problem is everybody panics. We joke about people getting their bread and milk in just in case they can't get to the shops.
I love a bit of snow as long as I can still get out. One of the first roads to become impassable is 'Snake Pass'. You can bet your house on it!
I was in the Lake District about 2 years ago but during the summer. I then travelled up to Scotland. It's lovely there.
