The Castle in Black & White

The beauty of the castle in black and white is indescribable and a particular question arises in me: how was it possible to build a castle like this having rudimentary tools at your disposal?

The construction dates back to the 12th century and it is impressive to imagine the ability of the workers in the design and construction of this structure.

In fact, I wonder how they could transport the quantity of boulders necessary to raise the walls of the castle and to arrange them in a perfect way, creating incredible and precise geometries.

The castle, seen from above, has a precise octagonal shape. The corners of the castle consist of 8 octagonal towers. An innovation masterpiece of almost a thousand years ago.
