The Coiled Dragon !!
The other day i was talking a walk through one of Bangkok's parks called Benjitiki Park and i came across this beautiful sculptured statues standing tall surrounded by bamboo trees , i just had to take a closer look.
As i got closer i could notice all the fine detail that had gone into making this beautiful coiling dragon illustrating the symbols of the Chinese culture.
You will notice if you have ever traveled around China you will see this dragon very frequently it represents there Oriental Culture they regard it as a symbol of power, strength, and good luck.
Dragons have existed throughout many cultures and in China they are looked at as a spiritual dragon and these powerful creatures they believe will guide you along as a spirit guide offering you guidance and support along your journeys of life.
This coiled dragon was donated by the Embassy of the Republic of China to the Kingdom of Thailand for the people as a friendship and good luck to the people of Thailand.
I also came across this other statue that was donated to Thailand by Singapore and the Singaporean people living in Thailand this is known as the Merlion or Sea Lion in Singapore the Merlion's body symbolizes Singapore's humble beginnings as a fishing village.

It's great to see a Merlion in Bangkok. I didn't realised Singapore gifts Merlions.
I was also surprised to see this in Thailand they were very nice to donate the Merlion to the people of Thailand 😊
Probably a cultural gift of friendship, or something like that. :-)
Yes this is what it was a cultural gift to the Thai people 😊
Photos look great in monotone. The art on the dragon is beautiful. I hope it brought good luck to the people.
