Announcing a New Token Game to Start Soon

A new game is being launched soon - very soon.

This is not quite an introductory post, as that would spoil the fun, but rather a brief advertorial of what is to come.

No staking, no delegations and no mining.

This will be a strategic game inspired by game theory ideas but with some added income generation.

Is it just a zero-sum game? No, all token sales will be invested to create income during the life of the game. The aim is that the total value at the end shall be more than at the start. Whether that is evenly distributed is another matter.

Does that mean everyone will profit? That is hard to know beforehand; it really depends on the strategies of all the players. In theory, with income generated, it may be possible for everyone to end up with a profit, but in practice there are likely to be winners and losers. The usual disclaimer is not to play with tokens that you cannot afford to lose.

So is it just a ponzi scheme? No, ponzis only work through deception; the deception being that there is a real business paying out real profits. In reality it is just money being moved around. A ponzi survives precisely because few people are privy to the flow of funds. On a blockchain, it is very easy to see that flow of funds, hence anything suspicious can be quickly detected.

So what is the strategy? Now... that would be telling!

Just to add that this is a totally open game with no random elements or hidden variables. In that sense it is no different to Chess or Go; if you lost a game of Chess could you honestly say it was because your opponent cheated?
