There are people who are so concerned with showing themselves well and pleasing, that they end up losing themselves. When the person is seduced by the temptations of ego and vanity, he ends up giving his life for a one-way trip. Only on the screen.

There are so many who live deceived by mirrors of small illusions and hidden behind curtains of big lies, that over time they lose track of reality. They can no longer live by being true. There is a collective charge under that. We are charged with the success of others and encouraged to be equal. Little do we know that, in some situations, behind a posted photo, there are almost always masks, there are almost always people with an injured soul, trying to show themselves strengthened.

There is a related framework between social networks and your illusion factory. It sounds absurd, but most of the time, we just post what we want others to see. We post what we want to be (and often are not). The truth is not always shown. Poses and more poses, filters and more filters to get the perfect photo. How many times have we, in search of other people's approval, painted a totally misshapen picture of reality. It is not always what it seems, sometimes people are about to fall over a precipice, but they want everyone to think otherwise. The sick search for “likes” turns so and so into hostages to their own lies.

The posting of others becomes a provocation and you need to show yourself better. Changing the appearance is no longer enough, it is necessary to pretend another life.
In fact, there are cases where the difference in image between the real person and the person shown on the computer screen is so great that, in most cases, it is unbelievable. They are distinct figures, almost unrecognizable when placed side by side. Society is reconfigured when a victorious image is projected. There is greater acceptance. There is a glorification of the figure of being beautiful, rich and perfect and not to fit in is painful for people (most of them) with self-esteem too shaken or too high. Some on one side, others on the other. Paradoxes difficult to understand. A consumer dream that makes many feel insecure and sad. A consumer dream that makes many people happy and successful. A dream of being beyond what other ordinary people apparently are.

The profiles are so perfect, the people so happy, the photos so beautiful, the food so delicious, the most amazing selfies, the most chic parties, the smiling friends, the impeccable families, powerful jobs, wonderful romances, unforgettable trips, the most expensive clothes: The best possible life! After this pleasure of the various likes, these actions are addictive and tend to be repeated.

When all of this is true and we really live and have this life, it is too good to expose the achievements.
Showing success and working with personal marketing can be a healthy part of the vain person's daily life. When it’s not much hype, even better. The danger is when much of what is displayed is not real, it is assembled, disguised, it is fake. There is a risk of being discovered and the castle falls, pleasure can become pain, lust can become bitterness, applause becomes booing, beauty becomes shame and smiles become crying.

It is complicated to think that currently the levels of happiness, achievement and success of people are calculated by the number of likes and hearts in their profile. These clicks, often made by people who don't even know each other.

It becomes more difficult to know that this also affects us. This false prosperity that we often find in the lives of others, we try to achieve in people's lives too and we don't always succeed.

Life does not demand perfection, but society does, friends do, family does and with that we project a winning image to please. This limit between the real and the virtual, brings us to a reflection on what we do and how much we are envious about what others do better than us. It is as if inner happiness would only be of use if other people saw it and enjoyed it. As if the happiness of others was something to incite envy.

We often feel that way, insufficient. We feel envy. We feel like we're not there. But we don't want to take over and we don't intend to hide. But, if you need to change your ways and hide your truths to fit the world, know that none of this will ever make you happier, more accepted, more beautiful or successful.

When you show yourself big on something you didn't build, the fall is certain and your smallness will be exposed someday. There is no one who does not need improvement, there must always be an inspiration to guide us to success, but we must repel mistakes, we must accept who we are.

If we have a good heart, it opens up and creates space to receive positive energy and only a heart full of joy and truth can make a soul full of happiness.
The soul must be happy and not that photo made up of the social network. For that reason alone it is worthwhile to fight to show yourself as you are. Do not let vanities prevent you from walking only in the ways of truth. Only the truth should be shown, even if it does not ennoble you, even if it does not grow you, even if it does not put you on stages and stages, does not bring you prizes and applause. But understand that only it matters. Only she is noble. Only she matters.
