Welcome back to my favourite music...alphabetically.

Favourite Artist: Led Zeppelin

Genre: Hard Rock, Blues Rock
One of the most influential and popular bands of all time, Led Zeppelin are pretty damn fantastic! I should listen to more of their stuff though, I've loved what I've heard so far... (only their first two albums!). Their importance is immense, they are worth a listen for sure! Check out: Led Zeppelin (1969) and Led Zeppelin [IV] (1971)

Favourite Album: ...Like Clockwork by Queens of the Stone Age

Genre: Alternative Rock with Hard and Stoner Rock elements
My favourite QOTSA album, ...Like Clockwork has a lot of variety, from the ominous Keep Your Eyes Peeled, to the sombre The Vampyre of Time and Memory, to the intense Kalopsia and finally to the beautifully melancholic I Appear Missing (one of my favourite songs of all time). The sexy guitar tones and riffs typical of QOTSA are still here but an added intimacy is present too. That's what makes this album really special for me. Favourite Song: There are lots of good ones and I just couldn't decide between these three: Last Donut of the Night by J Dilla, Line of Duty Finale by Carly Paradis and Leather Rebel by Judas Priest

Last Donut of the Night by J Dilla:
Genre: Instrumental Hip Hop
I'm definitely not a Hip-Hop guy but I like me some instrumental hip-hop and this is some of the best I've heard. I love the beats on this song. The strings are awesome. Definitely listen to the whole album (Donuts) but this is my favourite from the album.

Line of Duty Finale by Carly Paradis:
Genre: Contemporary Classical, TV Soundtrack
A current TV show that I love, this theme which plays at the finale (and at the end of each episode I think? Maybe modified?) of each season builds tension wonderfully and has a great climax. The simple melody works wonderfully too. Awesome.

Leather Rebel by Judas Priest:
Genre: Speed Metal
Awesome speed metal song from Judas Priest's finest album. It just tears, it's so fantastic. Awesome riffs, solos and vocals, awesome all around.
