My Mene 24K Gold Pendants are not mere objects or jewelry
When I was a teenager after my Confirmation, my Mom (an oil painting of her hangs on top of my piano) had me invested and imposed with a Scapular. I will not talk about what it means, because that is not the reason for this article.
The Scapular is to be kept close to my person at all times. Even during the several surgeries that I went through, the Scapular was pinned to my hospital gown.
When I started stacking, the first thing I commissioned to be casted and poured in .999 fine silver was my Scapular Medal. I think that a couple of our friends in the stacking community may know who casted and poured my Scapular Medal.
Yesterday, I had my Mene 24K Gold pendants blessed by a priest as a permanent part of my scapular. These are no longer considered mere objects or jewelry. These are now sacramentals.

So now I am teary-eyed. And I don't know why sis. It has a while since I talked about my Mom. I still have the wool cloth brown scapular from 30 years ago. Whew!!!
