Indian Market Friday

Here I come with my market friday post for this week. I know I am a bit late on my market friday post but better late than next week :D

So i have been a bit off lately with Steemit because of my mother's poor health and my own spinal cord pain. I have been cutting off my internet time- But I am good now, feeling way better.

So there were some glittery kiosks in my office on this friday. The kiosk were setup by local vendors, they had lots of fancy beauitful stuff at genuine prices. Most of the time when a kiosk comes in an IT organization they loot the employees. The prices are so high compared to local markets that almost no one buys. But this time the prices were great.

So here is what I bought:

A glittery sea green clutch. I really liked the color of this one.

It has even a golden chain insdie it which is optional. So you can pull the chain out if you want to hang it or just put it inside the clutch if you want to hold it only with your fancy attire.

I bought this for 8 dollars.

This below is a money envelope, a fancy one. So specially at weddings if you want to gift someone some money, these below envelopes are way too fancy and pretty.

I bought these at 1 dollar each.

Now here these below are Rakhis, so if you have heard about a festival called Rakdhabandhan in which a sister ties a knot on brother's hand as a symbol and promise of protection. The festival is on 15 august and everyone is buying rakhi for their brother.

I am also supposed to tie one on my sistet-in-law's wrist this year since she is a new member in my family:

This one is for my sister-in-law, a female rakhi:

Wow! Those gifts and the clutch are all beautiful Vibi.
Glad that someone decided that high priced goods don't sell.
Hope that everyone that you give them to will enjoy them.
Blessings!

I love the purse, and the money envelopes. Those envelopes are so much more tasteful than just a plain card.
Sorry about your pain--and yet you blog. Me too. I'm sitting here with two heating pads and a sack of heated therma beads on my back. Trying to get all the spots :)) But, I'm blogging. Heck, life goes on.
Hope you feel much better.

This is exactly one of the reasons why I love him. Friday! Because without working Friday I would never have known about this tradition! I love the little turquoise purse with chain. What a beautiful piece that is! I love this wonderful tradition where the sister ties a knot on the brothers hand as a symbol of Promise of protection. How cool! And the one where you tired on your sister-in-law's wrist!

The Rakhis are truly special and such a nice way to celebrate and Revere people.

For the money envelopes but her really beautiful and fancy oh, what a wonderful way to give a gift hey and I surely wish I had some flowers because it looks more special than a paper envelope. I do like your traditions and I thank you for sharing your culture with us once again. I want to thank you for taking the time and effort to put this together and presented to the market Friday! As always, I wish you was wonderful day.

#MarketFriday loves you!
