Market Friday:gift ideas in the mall,

(Edited)

This is my entry for #marketfriday created by our lovely and generous @dswigle. I am still in the mood of looking at beautiful things which could give me some ideas on gifts during the New Year occasion. It is so nice to be able to slowly examine these items of colourful decorative objects and ceramics without being pressured into purchasing anything. This mall on Rama3 road is my favourite place for my walking exercise and lunch meetings with friends.

Time truly flies by so fast, I am quite shocked that we are now very close to December and the end of this year. There are still piles of unfinished tasks waiting for my attention. But the moment of relaxation should be enjoyed fully. So, we are going to leave all the stress behind while we walk around absorbing all the good vibes from colourful objects which were nicely displayed for our attention.

There seems to be a mixture of Indian and Africa designs and colours in the collection this year. These warm colours and hand-made items are very vibrant and cheerful.

The hand embroidered handiworks in jungle theme are very attractive; I wish I were an interior designer so I could order the whole collection for a client’s house. It’s more economical to make belief that I was sourcing out the best items for my client.

The ceramic section is full of auspicious and symbolic designs to attract wealth and good luck. Though the design is very modern, I still like the blue-and-white best. They somehow make me feel calm and more peaceful. The colour blue is quite healing for me.

It is quite interesting to see ceramic in black and gold colours. In Feng Shui, black colour means money attraction that’s why the cashier areas in Chinese restaurants are often in black colour.

Some gold and red items are also essential for attracting good vibes in the house.

I ADORE the elegance & simlpicity of blue & white china, whether it be Chinese, Thai, Dutch, Portugese or even Morroccan inspired. GORGEOUS!

And yes, today we started also preparing gift boxes for New Year. Hopefully the tourists will come along with it as a bonus!

I hope tourism will start up again soon! The economy is in a bad shape and people need to get back to work. Praying for the best!

This is one of the most beautiful Market Friday posts I’ve seen. I love those splendid colors! I hope they do bring wealth and good luck!

I need to plan better for my next market Friday post. I’ve gotten busy and missed it two weeks in a row!

Thank you very much for your kind support and encouragement. These bright colours certainly woke my senses up in late afternoon that day! Glad you enjoy these vibes.

Oh! No wonder I did not see your market posts for a while. You ought to write them whenever you have some free time and save as a draft. You could publish your completed draft later: using ecency app allows you to keep your drafts.

Hope you and Zoey will have a very nice walk this weekend.

Cheers.

The beadwork is exquisite! It is so time-consuming and not at all easy to do the handwork on them. I have the utmost respect for the people doing this. There were so many beautiful examples of this work, I am in awe. Beads are so hard to work with on the tiny work, I have done some and it has taken me longer than I would have ever guessed. It was beadwork on one of my daughter's dresses and that is a lot easier than on pillows or other home goods.

That was interesting in the Feng Shui! And you are right! Even the ones in the States are black. I have to wonder why they would do dishes of this color? I am a big fan of blue and white for the same reason. Plus it is just pretty! :)

I love those lamps up on top. Really pretty. There is so much I love about this post. All sorts of lovely things. Glad I don't have to pay for them! It totally amazed me to know how much effort people put into making their post. The challenge started and pointed out our differences in the beginning, but, then, it really started showing how many things our cultures share. When the day is done, it shows off how human we all are and how we basically all care about our families and others. I love the experience of it all. I appreciate the love and support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Truly! Your participation adds a piece of your world, and I have to say, people are interested in is seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Thank you very much for your support and time and dedication in reading and giving so much thought on all the posts. It was quite a learning experience walking around these beautiful objects. I could never imagine myself capable of doing pottery, making handicrafts and artistic work. It just shows that human beings are capable of creative and wonderful invention. I just hope that the creativity side will overcome the negative emotional impulses so that the world could be in harmony.

There is much work to be done and time is running too fast these days!

Wishing you a very nice day.
