Malaysia - A great city - Durians? No thanks, not again :)

Here in Kuala Lumpur there is a lot to see. The previous evening we went here once into a residential building. Here I had the opportunity to take some great pictures of the city at night. Especially the view from the rooftop of the building was great. From here, one could already see very far in the night. Unfortunately, a lot is being built here in Kuala Lumpur, so that these views will soon no longer be possible. One skyscraper after the other is currently being built here.

The next day we met Steemian David from Team Malaysia @davidke20. We went out to a small but nice restaurant. Here we tried some delicacies from the Far East.

Then the two - @redpalestino and @davidke20 - had the glorious idea to show the new and fresh Steemian in Malaysia the world of the Durians. A few meters away in a street market there were Durians in different variations. In the SS2 Durian House Stall I had the chance to try the Durians.

First the two had chosen several different Durian varieties. They really forgave me and got me the softest Durian there was. I think we took a small table with 3 Durian fruits.

There were plastic gloves on the table - I think for a good reason. I have also put on one :-D Then it was so far... the Durian was brought open to the table and the two started to bite into it as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Well... and then it was my turn to try the fruit.

You can already guess my reactions about the Durians ;) In Germany this is probably the vomit fruit, which has its name not without reason. Alone the smell of the fruit is well.... In need of habituation. In this video here, you can see the reactions :O

I had to struggle until the next morning with the taste of the Durians. For one a delicacy and for the other a realy bad thing :D Well... Everyone must have tried it himself - there are many people who find these fruits delicious. But it is not my fruit ;)

In the coming days I will write a little more about the activities we have done here. I have already booked my flight to Bangkok and land at around 13:40 on Wednesday the 6th in Bangkok.

Until then and many greetings from warm Malaysia

I can't wait to try the durian when I get there to Steem Fest. I have been looking forward to it for months, lol. Hopefully I wont be disappointed.
