Yesterday 10/2/2020 I returned home with my bag lighter and my stomach heavier(:

Attended a Wedding Function and the bag is lighter because I delivered the gift that was for the couple in my bag, so hopefully the newly weds find and open the gift when they are free of course. My tummy is heavier because of yummy breakfast and lunch enjoyed at their wedding function.

Got momento for attending the function - it included this customised pen holder and a coconut in a paper bag made by Differently-Abled people of Atharbhaava Foundation.

Plus these bags are not of plastic so kind of eco-friendly arrangement.

This weekend I have been trying to design a greeting card for the occasion and this is what I ended up designing.

Words came easily but I struggled to design the card... but atleast I am happy with the words in the wedding wish card, if not for the design...ha!!!

I have done a few of write ups on marriage, more as tips for couples to keep in mind as they go ahead starting to live a life together. I am intending to rewrite those wise tips on marriage soon albeit as a improvised version.

As valentine’s day is coming up, which is the season of love, marriage deserves to have that soulful aura of love, a sincere one at that with that one person you trusted, accepted and held hand to lead a life together. It’s supposed to be a mature, growing and mutually benefiting relationship, that’s exciting.

You now will tend to think about someone else rather than just yourself and align your life with balance tuning it to embrace your life partner in your life and personal space frame, obviously your life would change to some extent as your life is merged with another(:

Initial layers of lust and attraction would one day fade...and post that comes companionship, understanding, acceptance, support, care, adjustment, all that makes 'a love' that’s special I guess. And there will be a time when that point is reached where one knows the other so much that they don’t even need to communicate. Sweet are’int?

Ofcourse, bad marriages happen and that needs to be ended and there are people who don’t marry, because they did not find someone suited to them or just because they are happy by themselves. People also are in honest relationships without getting married, all cool as long as the relationship is meaningful and partners treat each other with dignity and respect.

All in all it’s all about bond and relationship. As they say, there are thorns in the roses as well not just those soft, fragrant petals. We fantasize and dream about love, like it’s in the air getting enchanted, blinded etc, but truth is not that dream which 'love lightheartedness' causes initially.

Truth is harder, darker and not fun, but life is all about challenges, tests, hurdles, falls, experiences that when dealt with to conquer unite those two souls beyond love with a bond out of a collaboration. Two forces unite, complete and complement each other being counterparts, I guess this would make marriage such a wonderful journey.
