This topic of love and romance sells, with so many love songs about and romantic prose, literature, books. Many movies too hit on the romance element delving into other hormone pumping love making processes as well in that love package showcase.

Sure, love is a lot of flavorful romance. However, will it last? , is it worth your while getting drenched and soaked in these feelings which may after all be an illusion, you blame the youth or those hormones or passing fancies… but intoxication of love is only natural, and it’s true that love is an explorative personal experience.

There comes a time when we seek love, there would be heartbreaks, all quite natural.

Here I talk about how to approach romantic love -:

First is YOU. Before you eye someone else, see if your whole, are you ready to take the load?

Your qualities matter, and you should attract good people to you. If you have some issues like rage issues, sort it out. Don’t expect the other person to sort your life, won’t happen, you have to sort yourself and your life, become a better version of you. So, concentrate on a strong you first before checking out a relationship with another. If you are broken within, mend yourself, heal then proceed else you will bleed all too much with this strain.

Next come etiquettes and behavior. Remember, even if there is infatuation and fantasies, proper trustworthy behavior is only decent

You got to win the heart, hand, not grab the other without their consent, that is unacceptable. Keep yourself in control, those actions shown on TV, and those soft lustful reads in Mills and Boons books are not quite like how you deal with love in real life.. Don’t go for someone out of lustful aspirations alone, love is multidimensional, lust is one of the many dimensions of love accompanied by romance. Don’t get blinded by lust that you ignore the person’s feelings and cheapen their worth by ignoring their charms, value and inner beauty.

It is also obvious that you present yourself neatly, here I mostly allude to taking initiative in being a clean, neat you without foul flavour on you like bad breath, sweat smell etc

It happens that many people are not aware that they smell bad(: , just ensure that you don’t smell bad when you go meet your love interest. I am sure bad smell can be a horrible put off for the other person. Also, not cool to be smelling with that awful cigarette flavour, my take, it’s better to throw that cigarette smoking habit anyway because it is injurious to health (causes cancer)!!!

Next obvious thing, is you try apply your Natural charms (: ,

This is the only original thing you do possess to impress and a person who likes you for you would fall for you eventually.
You may be a good storyteller, traveller, someone with a good sense of humour. Just be you, set on roll conversations and have a good time. Compatibility matters!! You obviously want someone you can share life experiences with comfortably, see that you get someone you enjoy spending your time with. This in a sense is companionship and friendship.

Take care, be cautious... Take your time to trust the other person, don’t fall for anyone too fast.

All the time you are spending with the other, is an opportunity to understand the other person, make use of it. Pay attention to the person’s body language and other little details they reveal through their thoughts and actions, through which you can understand the person’s character. In today’s world, we know there will be many that like only your body beauty, money and want you temporarily to have pleasure. Please don’t let yourself get exploited. Let the other person earn your trust and pass the test of time. You deserve an authentic relationship with a good person at least and you are responsible for choices you make in your life, and a lover is certainly something very personal, choose wisely(:

Another simple aspect to ensure is your spending quality time without distractions.

Ensure you spend time in real, in person with your love interest/lover when you can, rather than virtual relationships. Also never fight in virtual media, communicate important things in person please. Communicating virtually when angry would only give way to misunderstandings, that’s childish.

Get the art of making the other feel special.

This takes efforts, creativity and thought. Take note of the things your lover likes - a particular blend of tea, song, poetry, if they are the adventurous type, health conscious, and gift them accordingly. Your surprise gift or act should be meaningful rather than getting them something usual like chocolate or bookey of flowers. You need to graduate in this in delivering customised surprises and gifts as you get more involved with the person.

Remember, you don’t own your love, they have their lives and individualities, respect their space!!

Don’t get over possessive!! , let your love interest pursue their life like they always intended. Allow them to do other activities and be with their social circles, because you cannot be the only agenda in their life. They have their dreams, passions,interests and pursuing, living them would keep them happy, and have them lead a more fulfilled life. Afterall, you want the one you love to be happy, let them grow, give them space and support.

Also keep communicating to sort out differences.

Initially, communication is important, as that’s a way to build understanding. Please expect,there is bound to be arguments, fights because two individuals are different and you can’t expect the other to agree with you, adjust completely with you or change for you. There is some amount of give and take. However, that need not be the reason to build a permanent rift, if you really like other aspects of your partner. You build an equation that works for you both. A relationship is unique and transcends differences of any kind - religion, caste, age too!!!

Remember hard ego will disconnect you with your lover, it’s not worth it, let go of it!!!

Don’t point out faults all too often and hurt the other, commanding them to change. People evolve into a better version of themselves, they don’t change abruptly. If you cannot see how beautiful and amazing they are right now, you properly don’t deserve that person. Also, having fights over differences of opinion to such an extent that your relationship tears is afful, we got to have an open mind to accept that the other person can have their individual point of view, they are not wrong to have it!!!

As a friend would be there in difficult times of a person, so should a lover. Your lover may have lost job, got afflicted by ill health or might be in the midst of other difficulties. Now, being there at their time of crisis, shows you actually care for the person. Keep encouraging and motivating your lover that, together you both would conquer the situation, no matter what, you are there for your lover!! That would be a strength for that lucky person to have such a supportive person in their life.

Those who are going through heart breaks. Understand that a relationship that is not going to workout has to end. This experience is a lesson for you so you understand what partner suits you, so your stronger, wiser, smarter with this experience and your life is still awesome with or without a lover!!!

So, there I covered points I got in my mind (: … and finally it’s all right to be single as well, just be happy, it’s better to be alone rather than with the wrong person. As the purpose of getting into a relationship is that it gives you happiness and you grow freely as the unique you only, if it hinders your growth, progress and you are not going to be happy, are still feeling unlove and lonely, that relationship is infertile, hallow and you are free to make the choice to leave such a relationship!!
