The last of December 2020, is a special and historic moment in my life. After a long struggle and my age is not young anymore, I managed to complete the bachelor's program with a degree, Bachelor of literature. A dream that was once delayed. Considered 19 years ago, when I was graduated from high school and got a scholarship. But I couldn't take it because of the cost factor. Because we come from poor families. Never mind going to college, just to eat just right.

My memories fly over to 21 years ago when I was studying in Junior High School, It was the 17th August celebration, that is synonymous with carnival competitions or parades. Every student was wearing national traditional clothing to celebrate independence day. They wear traditional clothing from various regions in Indonesia, there are Aceh, Lampung, Java, Bali, and so on. But some people also are wearing uniforms professions, such as policewomen, policemen, doctors, nurses and so on. It still makes an impression on it.

At that time I remember I really want to wear Bachelor's uniform. So, I have also collected money for renting the clothes in the shop. Because my family is so poor, and I also didn't token photos, so there are no memorable photos. Last time also no cellphone has a camera yet.

But now, beside I work as a migrant worker, I also study in the Indonesian Open University and get degree. Although to get it is not easy, four years is not a short time. Moreover, he admitted while working with a line of work without working hours limit. Because informal sector workers have to work and watch patients for 24 hours.

The struggle to get a bachelor's degree does not smoothly, because of my boss
work doesn't let me go to college. He thought I was here to work and get a salary.
So my job is just to treat patients well.
"You are here to work and I get a salary. So, do your job well, "he said
the day I expressed my wish to continue my education at the Open University of Taiwan.

All the obstacles that I faced, did not make me give up. The struggle must remain
continued; Working, studying, pursuing a hobby of writing, is not easy. I had late sleep, it make deprivation, which resulted in eye circles; panda eye , because I only sleep 3-5 hours at night.

All that hard work has pay off and finding result. I still contunue my master program during online class in one University in Lampung, my hometown.
