What Kind Of Person Are You?

Couldn't believe he let me get so close!


We took one of our walks at Tulsa's Woodward Park and came across this little guy. It caused me to think of a question I wanted to ask you.

What kind of person are you?

You come across a turtle in the road. Do you continue to drive, hoping not to hit it?

Do you just ignore that it is there?

Or do you pull over and help it across the road?

The reason I ask is because I would like to know what type of person you are. Do you care about others? Are you willing to put yourself out so others can enjoy life? What do you do when others are in need of help?

Just curious.

Love this...

In my younger days, my old High School buddy and band mate and I, would perform what we called the "Turtle Stop"... didn't matter what season, or time of day... we saw a turtle, we did what we could to help. Because really, aren't all living things prescious, and justifiable to live?

That is what we do. However, Scott has to move them. He said it is too entertaining to watch me try to pick them up. We would be there for hours otherwise.

You have always been pretty awesome! I love your willingness to help others.

It is turtle crossing season here where I live. I stop as long as we are not on a busy hwy. Otherwise I drive away from them, but cheer them on as we pass. I like to think that makes me a good person.
