Just Do Something Principle!

(Edited)

We are humans and no matter how much knowledge we have, we are still human.
With an human body and human psychology.

Even the best psychology professor is still kind of jailed in his human psychology and pharmacology.. Your own reward system can be one of your worst enemies. Depends on your psyche.

Forming new habits and changing oneself is also not easy.

I also have a problem of no motivation from time to time and tend to only want to improve my brain - dont care so much about muscles.. I want to change that, that's why I wrote the body and brain thing at the end.

So I made this simple but effective principle, which keeps me going:

I guess or hope it's self-explaining. If you have questions, feel free to ask.
And sorry for the uglyness :D

It's a very powerful tool to counter lack of motivation or everyday boredom and postponement but also depression..
ooor to inspire people to post on hive :D.

Especially if you also keep in mind that every experience is new and you should just start with whatever you like! ;)

Everything else will come. :]

This was an old post by me. It's on my old account and I think it's the perfect time to pull him into light again! :)

I have a really hard time getting back into Steemit... ähhh I mean Hive ofc without my buddy @dwinblood . I would always just go to his Blog, read some and then I had the inspiration for 1-2 articles countering or strengthening his points.

"Be always sure you are right, then go ahead."--Davy Crockett

"Don't just do something, sit there."--anonymous

It is when we are just sitting there that we are able to consider what is or isn't right. Action is necessary, but only after we gain reasonable certainty what action to take.

I work construction, and have worked for and with a lot of guys that say "Do something, even if it's wrong." I utterly repudiate that. When building something, and someone does something the wrong way, the project stops. No one can keep adding to the structure if the part they need to build onto is built wrong. Then what is done wrong needs to be undone. This costs more money to do than was budgeted to do it right, because someone was already paid to do it right, and they did it wrong - but still got paid. Finally, someone needs to do it right, basically costing three times what was originally necessary to do it right in the first place - and delaying the entire project (probably costing a whole bunch more money too).

"If you don't take the time to do it right, you'll make the time to do it over."--me

Thanks!
