Focus on what you have influence over
The drama here and in politics and with this whole corona thing has become a black hole for me so I’ve been stepping away from it in order to focus on things which I have more direct influence over. Trying to move some of my work online, brainstorming podcast future, and most importantly working on breathing exercises and meditations.
Things went from feeling pretty bleak a few days ago to feeling alright.
I think it’s important to realize that focusing on the moment and your current surroundings can be just as effective as meditation. What can you do right now? You can’t end steem drama or corona or by stressing about it. You can’t make a candidate win or lose by shouting about it.
Put yourself in a better mood before you face the world by focusing on whatever there is to be positive about. If nothing cheers you up, just focus on your breath and let the rhythm of your breathing was away the stress and negativity you feel. Go back to the feeling of being a baby, where none of these complicated things were on your mind and you had no concept of time.
Chill out. Just be. It’s all good right now.

I love how many of us seem to be on the same wave length ( even when we don't know it of each other ). I am feeling way more positive today after having felt pretty low the last couple of days. Steering away from the drama sure helped. In a way it's like meditating and realizing that we're able to stop negative / unhelpful patterns of thought and replacing them for more helpful ones and all that stuff.
