Penury or Prosperity will Result from the Economic Catastrophe Ongoing. You Alone Will Choose.

In an afterthought to a comment by @frot on @doitvoluntarily's post regarding beaches reopening, I wrote the following, which I decided to post here for wider availability.

We've been indoctrinated from birth by extremely sophisticated propagandists availed of centuries of advanced scientific research and unlimited budgets in order to inculcate a worldview that delivers ~half our productive output to banksters.

What the present destruction of our economic means does is rub that fact in our faces. Millions of people around the world are experiencing, or will shortly, extreme deprivation, and I expect that deprivation and penury to rise to the level of famine.

It is certain that many of the sheeple so easily corralled all their lives by the comforting susurration of lies whispered into their ears by status gurus will be jarred loose from that mesmerizing spell.

At the same time, the cutting edge of tech advance across all industry is decentralization. 3D printers, aquaponics, mesh networks, cryptocurrency, CRISPR, and more and more are all advancing at exponential speed, and being distributed throughout the population ever faster.

This decentralization of production cuts out the capital necessary for industrial scaled factories. It cuts out all the middlemen that take a cut, and the flow of our vital essence into the blood funnels of the vampire squid of Goldman Sachs.

In fact, when you make your own widget, or grow your own potato, or send me a BTC instead of a dollar for my momma, you don't need to earn wages that are taxed to buy those things, don't pay banksters fees for them to take your money from you, and don't pay profits to manufacturers that poison your food, or chemically castrate you with faux fur panties.

They're cutting their own fucking throats, if we react rationally to the destruction of the parasitic economic vampirism that has arisen in the Keynesian era under neoliberal fascism since the early 20th Century, at least.

The meek will inherit the Earth, because we'll help each other get free of the jingoistic and vain banksters seeking deification because they have all the goddamn worthless dollars in the world, and share our ability to produce with our good neighbors, who will share with us, so that we can not only survive the deliberate imposition of desperate poverty on us by venal vampires, but thrive as we never have before and advance our qualities of life beyond what is currently imagined.

I just adopted another means of production for which I need to earn no wages, pay no taxes, or depend on any centralized capital to benefit from. It takes almost none of my time, except to collect those benefits by hand, and that's because I haven't automated that collection.

We're not gonna get enslaved.

We're gonna get busy, and get rich.

Money isn't wealth. Wealth is stuff you can sometimes buy with money, like love ($200/hr gets you a lot of love). I don't need money at all now to gain that benefit I formerly had to buy with money, and from CRISPR and pharmaceuticals, to 3D printers and doodads and gadgets, clothes, and even structures, that technology is just now beginning to advent in society.

That's why this economic assassination is underway, because in ten years the flow of resources to banksters will be a fraction of what it is today, as individually suitable means of producing commodities and bespoke luxury and advanced tech goods and services disperse and develop, eliminating the parasitization banksters depend on for their wealth and power.

They're trying to prevent that from happening.

Instead, they're forcing us to do it, traumatically breaking normies free from their hypnotic obedience to overlords by breaking their present means of sustenance. Just watch and see how competent people really are, when they're not drugged into insensibility by the flashy light box, beer, and pics of phat Kardashian booty.

Remember, our ancestors poked mammoths with pointy sticks to get their dinner, survived Toba, and lived for hundreds of thousands of years without medical care at all.

People faced with watching their kids go hungry are gonna wake up and get cracking, and they're gonna be pissed.

We should let the professional military know that the folks giving them the orders to kill innocent civilians all over the world have been chemically castrating them for decades, and have now reduced their testosterone by more than 60%.

When the time is right, that will be the catalyst for the executive function the militaries of the world will serve when they enable a global probate of the world to the people.

Of course, executors only probate estates when the former owners have expired. I expect the armed soldiers of the world to be deeply offended by being castrated, and to effect just compensation of those that did it to them.

Those are the banksters, pissing us all off, and acting like they can inject ID2020 into us against our will, as if pencil necked geeks have such power to force us to submit to their will.

We're gonna be free, not slaves.

Yes.

However, I am actually not. I say yes because most people would call me an anarchist. But anarchy is having no rulers, and I have a ruler: me.

I am actually an autocrat.

This parasitic drain is why it makes economic sense to DIY anything at all. When you look at oneself and see that a particular labor costs you more than you can earn per hour doing the same work yourself by 3-7 fold, the remaining difference has to go somewhere. The average hourly wage of an auto mechanic for example is $18.20 while you're billed as much as $120 per hour as the consumer of that same person's labor. Other trades are similar. As pointed out so eloquently by Adam Smith centuries ago, specialization should result in found efficiencies and expertise that make services cheaper than we could possibly provide them for ourselves, but this is not the case in the current system for many things. What it means is that most of your payment for this labor is going somewhere else other than into the pockets of the people doing the labor, and into the pockets of people who provide no value whatsoever. These leaches have been bleeding the hosts near to death for quite some time now, to the point that the slightest of shocks will jeopardize the very lives of the hosts. A shock just like this pandemic. This is the time when people snap out of their trance and notice the blood as it's being drained in real time so that they can pull the leaches off to avoid certain death. At least let's hope they do.

Exactly. The hope people snap out of their trance is literally the hope they survive. The economic matters you refer to are why survival will mean thriving far beyond what people generally think is possible.

It is pretty amazing to consider that the wealth we enjoy today is but a tiny fraction of the wealth extant. When the banksters are disenfranchised, it will be we common folk that are extended that wealth, and it is far more than most of us can even comprehend.

I always love reading your work man. Thanks for the optimism.

What is this new means of production you mention? Did you plant a tree?

Also what is (or was) Toba?

I have some chickens I feed my lawn. Free eggs! Blue eggs even.

Toba was a volcanic eruption ~70kya that apparently killed off every human being except for ~5k that survived to be our forefathers. Conditions everywhere people were living suddenly and catastrophically became not only suboptimal for survival, they became utterly deadly. Layers of ash meters thick buried the landscape, killing off everything. The air was toxic, filled with toxic rain. Water became the same.

Folks found places where the ash didn't reach, some few of them, or mined the buried layer of dead things for food and water, for years while the ecosystems that provide our necessary support slowly re-emerged and became nominal to that support again.

It's difficult to truth the genetic studies that provide the numbers of survivors I cite above, and those numbers are probably off by potentially orders of magnitude. However, even if 50k, or 500k people lived, it's clear that they lived through terrible decimation of the population, and proved thereby their mettle.

Dang, I want chickens. And a milking goat.

I’m hoping that land prices drop nicely into my range in the next months and that I have time before the next supervolcano to get some trees producing and build soil.

Time will tell

They can be had, but I had to special order them, and jump through some hoops to get them delivered during the ongoing efforts to prevent people from securing means of producing food besides goverment sanctioned cockroach milk.

I have been advising folks for more than a year now that the time was coming when food would be used as a weapon to render people subject to the will of overlords. While the pandemic was not a factor early in my considerations, it certainly has become one now. We see in some places the government jurisdictions have gone so far as to ban seed and garden implement sales to civilians already.

Shades of the Holodomor begin to darken our climes, and folks will best ignore rhetoric and plan rationally to ensure they have secure supplies of food no matter what happens, to the degree possible. I should point out that my chickens aren't publicly visible. My name was never on a list of folks buying chickens. Pay cash, and keep them out of sight, so the snitches don't have any way to earn brownie points when the suppression of private food production is actually directly attacked by government toadies.

The basic principles of guerrilla gardening are to ensure those gardens aren't subject to destruction by governments determined to starve their people, as has repeatedly been done in recent centuries. It is useful to remember that rhetoric is the pointy end of oppression, and no weapon in their arsenal is as deadly as propaganda and censorship.

This is harder to do with goats.

Gorilla gardening will also fit nicely into the principles of permaculture =)

Luckily I’m in Portugal and things haven’t progressed quite so far here. Goats and chickens are pretty much everywhere and the “law enforcement” is pretty minimal here. My neighbor does have a couple pigs though. They’re adorable.

It’s actually pretty awesome to walk down the street and see that almost every yard has at least some citrus and fig trees if not its own vegetable garden. Much different culture of food here.

It's important to see these things in context. In the Ukraine in the 1920s you would have similarly seen gardens and household goats and pigs common. The Bolsheviks took them all, destroyed the gardens, and kept the people from accessing land or stocks of food for ~2 years, long enough to starve ~ten million people to death.

This isn't about convenience, or aesthetics.

It's about survival.

Yeah hopefully things don’t come to that. I doubt the population here is well armed, I know I’m not. I’ve never seen a store selling firearms or ammo here.

I guess if/when the illusion is abandoned it will come down to how brainwashed the uniforms are. If they are willing to commit the same attrocities that those that came before them were in the name of “duty” then I don’t see much hope for most of us.

Of course by that time the soldiers may be made of aluminum and controlled by ai. In which case, we’re also probably screwed. Maybe we should be stockpiling emp weapons.

You point out in your comment yourself that firearms are just one security tech. I try to point out that tech is 1000 years old, and hopelessly obsolete for personal defense. It's the optimal tech for armed thugs to project institutional power, because those aluminum drones can't kick down your door and drag you off to a dungeon to be tortured until you pay your protection money/taxes.

WMDs are only good for killing people, not for making them obey.

However, folks defending themselves from gangs of armed thugs don't have much interest in making them obey. Killing them is just fine. Lots of stuff works great to stop bags of meat from dragging you away that isn't chemically propelling pellets.

Folks are being forced to recognize they are being farmed, and harmed, by the economic destruction and the global house arrest and police state forming as we speak. Lots of folks are gonna figure out better ways to defend themselves using the same manufacturing tools they are going to have to use to get the products the centralized system will no longer provide.

I recommend it. EMP weapons are fine if you're facing an enemy with advanced electronics - which we are. But it doesn't do much to bags of meat, which is who is using that C&C. Bags of meat are pretty damn fragile.

@berniesanders is one of the original ninjaminers that has massive stake. They are one of the most influential members of the oligarchy profiteering from Steem, and now Hive, and perhaps the primary reason Hive remains vulnerable to simply being bought out, and subject to the Sybil attack that took down Steem.

Have a look at @berniesanders record of posts, flags, and comments, and you will see a constant opposition to free speech, criticism, and advocacy of freedom of any kind that potentially reduces their ROI from their stake.

When Hive goes down, as I predict it will because it has failed to secure the governance mechanism from the Sybil attack that took down Steem, it will largely be @berniesanders fault. @xxxxxxxxxx is one of their many sockpuppets, and you will learn more from their recent AMA if you can stomach the rank egotism and insufferable arrogance that oozes from every word they write if you read it.

From time to time, as my posts and comments hit too close to home, they undertake a serial flagging campaign to shut me up. Since I do not use cryptocurrency as money their flags have no financial effect. I don't care. I am not harmed or impacted in any way by flagging.

However, others are impacted, and eventually pressure mounts on @berniesanders to step off, because they're costing those folks money, so they do.

Personally, I am being rewarded for my accuracy when these flagging spurts happen. It shows I have hit the target: those responsible for preventing adoption and retention of Hive by new users, for keeping profiteering and vulnerability to Sybil attack features of Hive enable, such as @berniesanders, are less concealed in the shadows when I call them out for their venal and nefarious policies and acts.

As usual, wannabe overlords have only one response to freedom, and that is to crush it to the degree possible. However, I walk my talk, and live in the post-market economy to the degree possible today. I am largely invulnerable to financial attacks as a result. What these flags reveal is the impotence of banksters to exactly the strategies I advocate IRL.

When they do finally lose their parasitic flow of resources deceptively extracted from society, their failure to have learned any useful skills besides manipulating people will leave such folks in desperate penury, and the risk will be great that we pity them then.

I won't pity them then, because I pity them now, and have long recommended they undertake the exact measures I recommend everyone does to support themselves in the manner they wish to become accustomed to. They don't, and when the consequences of their failure to do so are visited upon them, they will have well earned those consequences. Preventing them from reaping that reward for their actions will not benefit them, nor society, as they have proved their counterproductive impact on civilization when provided the ability to be productive.

@xxxxxxxxxx is as pitiable one such as I could name. As you point out, they are more trapped by their worldview than anyone, and I could only imagine the consequences to their self esteem that wreaks. You can estimate that lack of self respect by the quality of their comments. They have no standards they will not stoop below.

How vile they must believe they are if such things can come from them in public!

It's probably a good thing you didn't read it all. No point in getting poked in the eye if you can avoid it.

I'm pretty sure I'm not your type, but it's kind of you to ask. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Maybe we could just grab a cup of coffee and chill instead?
