Travelgirl Plays MarioKart Deluxe

Hi Everyone,

What a weekend of ups and downs! During this time, I thought maybe I should just not think about the blockchain for a while and get on with life and spend some valuable time with the family. This is when we introduced Mariokart on the switch to the kids. They don't really play games apart from the odd ones on my iPhone but one on a console is a first. As the switch only had 2 controllers, we had to get two more so everyone can play together. With the game, it cost nearly $200 for the lot (exxxyyy!!)

Why we introduced it to the kids is we thought it was time they try something new and let them play some games that will help them with strategy, eye and hand coordination, problem-solving and most importantly don't be a sore loser. Baby E was got the hang of it quickly but lack a bit of coordination. He was also a bit sad each time he came last or second last which we told him to do better next time and see the guy in front as the next goal. Kids at this age don't like losing, I guess most people don't. Baby M, on the other hand, is all over the place, he is still young so we let him do whatever he likes and after a few hours, he slowly knew what he was doing.

We also have Super Mario Party which is great for teamwork and play individually so with these two games on hand, it will keep the boys busy. At the same time, it gives something for the family to do and laugh about rather than I do the cooking or daddy do the cleaning up. I hope you all had a great weekend regardless of your thoughts about Tron taking over Steem, we are still a great community overall and being united and strong is what we are good at.
