Android 10 Update: Hello Dark Mode!

Android 10 or Android Q has begun rolling out recently on Android smartphones (of course lol). For my Nokia phone, I received the system update notification last week, another reason why I was freeing space on my phone too. The update is huge, more than 1 GB.

The overall feel of the update was better than the previous Android OS. The third button used for minimizing apps was removed although some reviews said you can enable it on the settings if you want it back. You can, however, minimize apps by a short swipe up anywhere at the bottom part of your screen. A long swipe will open your list of apps. So why do we need the third button?

Another feature that I'm still trying to get used to is the swiping action to switch from one app to another. This feels really convenient because you no longer have to minimize the app. Just a swipe to the left or right and you're on another app. Cool! Here are other features included according to the update details of my phone.

If there is one update I am gushing over the Android 10, that is the Dark Mode. Why did developers took so long to include dark mode option for Android? Anyway, I am so happy with it. If there's just dark mode option for everything in the phone, I would. Lol. You can now also choose whether to silent specific notifications. I have also noticed that my phone lasts longer than it used to. It was just a slight difference but it's amazing!

One thing that makes me sad though is Android no longer name their OS after sweet foods. Pie is the last treat we are going to have. Lol. Now we're just having numbers and letters, I guess.
