Promise-Breaking Tendencies – The Hallmark Of Modern Society

The shaky foundation of promises. They’re supposed to be kept forever, but truth be told, 10 times out of 10 they don’t fucking deliver. They stole our freedom, but brainwashed us into thinking working a 9 to 5 and paying our taxes isn’t slavery. They pretend to ace it at this freak show called "Education", when all they do is shove down our throats shitloads of premade conclusions. We’ve never been taught to think for ourselves, we’ve rather been conditioned to memorize in order to get good grades.

Go to school, get a job, find a lover, start a family. Little did we know they were selling us the idea of fantasy. A fantasy that would turn itself into daily misery. They trained us to become productive contributors of society, falsely pretending that somewhere along the line it was magically going to make us happy. Political campaigns are masters in the art of broken promises. Give me your vote, and I’ll bring you down with me on the corruption slope.

In a world governed by uncertainty, putting our whole trust in those so-called promises is nothing short of risky. The average Joe screams deception, might be a sign we should keep it loose on them expectations.
