Living For The Future

The number of days you live is not what people will remember but the impact you created when you were alive. Some people will focus on long life while they tend to neglect the very important one: "well life". This is because living long is good but living well is better.

Many of the celebrities we hear about (both in the present and in history) made their impact while at their prime age. If you have taken time to look at the Nigerian twenty Naira, the person whose picture graces the note (Gen. Murtala Muhammed) just lived for 38 years but in those years, he rose to the rank of General in Nigerian army and was immortalized in our currency.

Take another example, the first black American president, Barack Obama ascended the throne in his prime age - this was also in fulfilment of the dream of Martin Luther King who also made his mark in his prime age. Age will only become mere numbers if you fail to work while it's still day time. If after you have lived for very long and old and no one can point to an impact you have made or what will be used to celebrate you posthumously, then you have lived a very futile life.

Anyone that will make impact must bear one thing in mind; they must be able to provide solution to a particular life's problem. Just take a look at the men Orville and Wilbur Wright, they saw a particular problem in transportation and it moved within their heart to invent a faster airborne means of transportation, and that was how the first ever airplane was created. This placed their names in life's hall of fame and engraved their names on the sands of time.

The opportunity you have to solve problems is the same opportunity that will make you a name here. Each time life rises up with problems and challenges, just see them as opportunities to prove your worth. Remember, no one crosses over to the next class or the next level without being made to face exams. The exams of life are what make the giant in you to emerge. Do not wait for the right time to start solving problems around your world, the time is now. Move all out and create the impact you want and your memory will forever be remembered.

Thanks for reading

Peace on y'all
