The first rain, blessings and source of trouble

Hi Steemian how are you today? I hope you ate healthy and creative to work.
Today there is a cloudy sign that there is a chance of rain. This is the first rain after a long dry season. rain is something that everyone looks forward to during the dry season. hope for the freshness of the water that comes down from the sky to green the earth. With the withering rain it will return soon. Hot weather will be cool and comfortable.

Rain is a blessing that is eagerly awaited. We feel grateful because the rain that comes will make the heat so reduced. Especially for areas that have experienced fires. it will put out the hotspot. The rain became a firefighter under God's command.
I still remember during the rainy season, we would definitely run out of the house and enjoy the rain water. We will feel happy playing football on the field while it rains. there was never fear of pain or cold. All that was done with great pleasure.

First Rain

Although rain is a blessing, parents will usually advise not to rain during the first rain.
"The first rain brought disease," they said.
As an adult I can understand why parents forbid rain in the first rain.
1. Rain water contains impurities.
When the rain comes the first time it will surely sweep the sky long without water. The air is full of droplets and allows for many germs.

2. Body condition that is not ready
When approaching the rain usually the heat feels very hot. our body also feels hot. if at the first rain we immediately get rained on then we will easily get sick because our bodies have not adjusted. A sudden shower of rain makes the body feel shocked and can fall ill.

3. Lots of rubbish
When the first rain comes, usually the garbage will be carried by the flow of rain water in the waterways. As a result, stagnant water is more dirty and can bring bad impacts on health.

4. Reptile and venomous animals
When it rains first, usually many animals can come out or be carried by water. If this is not considered it can lead to the bite of a swimming snake or sting of centipedes, scorpions or other animals.

Therefore, parents usually remind children not to rain during the first rain.
Therefore my writing this time may be useful.

Thank you for reading my post. I hope you enjoy it.

Thai people, too, are very cautious about those first big rains. With good reason, as you've well pointed out. The second and third clean, gorgeous, pure energy deluges? Yes please!! LOVE them! Worthy of being danced in.

I couldn’t imagine living in a tropical monsoon region. I enjoy the rain when it breaks up the dry heat we have here where I live. But I’m not a fan of constant rain, especially when it’s also warm. Humid heat is not my friend lol.

I remember learning something similar in Chinese Medicine about the diseases that the first monsoonal rains bring.

I hadn't thought of the possible issues with the first rain but it makes sense. A similar consideration when collecting rain water from the roof is to skip the first few gallons to allow the impurities to wash away before storing the remaining water.
