The importance of your association

Did you know that your company/friends can do the work of transformation in your life? GOD gave us the gift of relationships that through them, He can change our lives for the better and upgrade our prospects in life. Remember the rabble that gathered around David at the outset of his leadership journey? They were described as “…all who were down on their luck --losers and vagrants and misfits of all sorts” in 1 Samuel 22:2. But by 2 Samuel 23, these same guys had been transformed into an elite group of warriors and leaders. What happened? They upgraded their association and their lives were transformed as a consequence. Your company can determine what accompanies you. Your friends can determine your end. You cannot walk with giants, eat what they eat, and remain a dwarf. Also, you cannot walk with dwarves, eat what they eat, and expect to be a giant. Who do you keep company with?
