Attention All: I'm Writing This Post To Tell You All About Why There Will Not Be A Post Today
I was visited by a winged creature.
It flew away to the west.
But this post isn't about that.
There comes a time in every human's life when they must decide upon what to do.
Some decisions include:
- Waking up
- Going to the bathroom
- Paper or plastic
- Answer the phone or let it ring
Today I'm letting it ring.
I've decided to do nothing, today.
Of course, nothing will turn into something the moment I decide to do more than I had originally planned to do. It is seemingly impossible, no matter how hard I try, to do absolutely nothing.
'Nothing' does not exist.
If you could prove to me somehow nothing exists, I would be of the most impressed in feelings.
The moment you say, "This is nothing," that nothing becomes something.
I'm having a hard time with this.
Do you have kids? I have kids.
Mine are teenagers. Have you ever asked a teenager what they are doing?
Nothing.
How in the hell do they manage to pull that off?
I have tried my hardest, for four hours.
To me, they always look incredibly busy, until it's time to give me the blank stare and the offering of nothing. They must know something I don't. If I ask, "How can you be doing nothing," I'm given that other stare that isn't so blank. I'm certain I've distracted them away from nothing, yet removing nothing temporarily from one's life seems to be amazingly offensive.
But this post isn't about that.
Thirty minutes ago, this wasn't even a post.
This post started out as nothing and quickly became something that will not stop growing.
I feel like I've known you my whole life and now I want to pull out the photo album to show you some pictures.
Is it ever too soon for something like that?
What was the purpose of writing that?
Moving right along.
I managed to make everyone think about nothing.
That is quite the feat.
This started out as nothing:
(If you consider a blank digital canvas and a little bit of ambition to get something done to be nothing.)
And it turned into something simple.
Which is what I'm all about today.

Everyone knows that " 'Nothing' ventured, 'nothing' gained." It is a famous truth and universally held to be wisdom of the first order.
So if you were to venture some "nothing" (put it at risk in a potentially profitable venture), you would definitely gain some "nothing". So it is absolutely untrue that "nothing" is nothing at all. "Nothing" is definitely something - and not to be sneezed at!

It's an old inside joke between myself and a few others who get it. Yes, they're all different. I've also done about ten or more "It's Done" posts. These are called, episodes. Don't worry, eventually I'll retire the series once I get bored of doing nothing.

Your doing well to get a 'nothing' from your teenager. I get a grunt or shrugged shoulders.
They're actually pretty good but I should know better than to distract them when they're busy on those damn devices, that I also use. I remember how annoyed I'd get if I was playing Nintendo and mom or dad would come and start talking to me. If Mario died, it was their fault.

Honestly, I think that means nothing as well.
It is quite tough to plan to do 'nothin' as you end up doing way too much. The other way round does seem true too. Planning to do many things in a day and at some point you conclude you got to nothing.
Hm, somehow there seems to be a lesson in that. Never mind, I dont see it, must be nothin.
To me nothing is like the symbol for it: 0. And the second you start to think about it, it becomes everything. Oow the times I just wasted thinking about the void. Good times, no rat-race there.
