Steemit 2 Years Anniversary!!! :O

(Edited)

Well this was an interesting surprise. I can't believe how fast the time flew by :) I admittedly took a break from Steemit, even thought I kept blogging. I was just tired and needed a change of "scenery". I've always been like that for everything, as I find new environments to be inspiring in a way.

I actually decided to return to Steemit because I've been going through no drawing phase again. I simply felt no motivation to sketch, but I started finally yesterday. So I guess it worked kind of ^^

I'm pleased to see a lot of familiar faces still around and even better, those who have been inactive, back as well :D

I'll take it easy for now, no promises, no big or special projects. I just want to focus on drawing and improving my art (and cooking) skills.

The main reason I've continued blogging all these years is because it helps me formulate and analyze my thoughts.

Why do you blog? And anyone else celebrating anniversaries? :D

Congratulations!

I'll have two years here in Dec.

I also have been in and out of the blockchain.

I started up a painting business and have been pretty busy with that.

Happy anniversary! It’s totally okay to take little breaks here and there. I’m also the type who likes a change of scenery. I hope you continue to share you drawings with us!

Why do I blog? Hmmm... I guess it’s just like writing a journal entry for me. I can look back and remember all the fun times and see how I grew as an artist.

I'm just a dopamine junky :P
I did some of my best artwork for contests I didn't win. I didn't care. The adrenaline rush from competitivnes simply gave me the motivation I needed to keep working on an artwork even if I was dissatisfied with it at first. It's so hard to overcome that sketch phase for me.
